Who We Are!

Winbush Enterprise Inc. (WEI) is a 501(c)(3) agency in Columbus, OH established in 2013 and whose goal is to navigate ex-offenders to specific job skills training opportunities and job placement and to mentor offenders who are under post-release control (PRC) or Adult Parole Authority supervision. The Ohio Governor's Expedited Pardon Project would allow WEI to provide eligible restored citizens to become more fully restored with a broader range of employment, career opportunities, and housing options, allowing them the ability to engage in more prosocial citizenship duties such as volunteerism and jury duty.

In 2022, the WEI expanded its scope to provide comprehensive wraparound services. These services are achieved through an established collaboration with other local community-based organizations, whose mission is focused on putting an end to the cycle of generational incarceration and lowering the rate of recidivism. This collaboration will provide a safe environment for at-risk youth and young adults.
